When a crown is the right answer
- A tooth is cracked or fractured and needs full-coverage protection.
- An old, large filling is breaking down and little natural tooth remains.
- A tooth has had root canal therapy and needs reinforcement.
- A tooth is severely worn or misshapen and affects your bite or smile.
- An implant needs its final, visible tooth.
Modern porcelain and zirconia crowns are colour-matched to your natural teeth — nobody will spot which tooth is crowned, even in your smile line.
Bridges: closing the gap
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth using crowns on the neighbouring teeth as anchors. It's fixed in place — no removing at night — and restores your chewing and appearance. During your consultation we'll compare a bridge honestly against a dental implant so you can choose what's right for your mouth and budget.
Fillings and smaller repairs
Not every damaged tooth needs a crown. We place composite (white) fillings that bond to your tooth and disappear visually, and conservative inlays and onlays when damage falls between a filling and a crown. We always recommend the least invasive restoration that will truly last.
